Job Description

Bistro Suzette a delightful Frenchinspired bistro located in the heart of Brisbane is seeking a professional and customerfocused Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food and beverage team you will oversee daily operations ensure exceptional guest experiences and lead our frontofhouse team to success.

  • Supervise and coordinate all frontofhouse operations including dining room and lounge bar.
  • Train mentor and motivate staff to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain high standards of food and beverage service
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations hygiene standards and responsible alcohol service practices
  • Handle customer inquiries feedback and complaints professionally and efficiently
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain menu knowledge and communicate specials to staff and guests
  • Assist in organising and executing special events and promotions
  • Stay informed about Brisbanes dining trends and local food regulations

Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 23 years of experience in food and beverage service with proven supervisory experience in a luxury hotel 
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to train motivate and manage a team effectively
  • Excellent customer service skills and a passion for creating memorable dining experiences
  • Solid understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Current Food Safety Certification and Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in cash handling and basic financial reporting
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of French cuisine and wine (preferred)
  • Familiarity with Brisbanes dining scene and local food regulations
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
