Role Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Marketing Manager with a proven track record in driving impactful marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in marketing management including extensive work within the financial sector. This role requires a strong background in online marketing a solid understanding of traditional media technical knowledge CRM expertise and exceptional project management skills to lead campaigns and oversee a team of contractors. Location is Melbourne Australia (Officebased role).

Key Responsibilities

Digital Marketing Strategy:

• Develop and implement online marketing strategies including SEO PPC affiliate marketing email marketing and content creation.

• Analyze and optimize online marketing campaigns to maximize ROI and engagement.

• Oversee website production and ensure seamless user experience.

Public Relations & Traditional Media:

• Build and maintain relationships with PR agencies journalists and newspapers.

• Develop press releases and manage media outreach to ensure consistent and positive brand representation.

• Coordinate and monitor traditional advertising campaigns.

Project Management:

• Plan execute and monitor marketing projects from concept to completion.

• Delegate tasks effectively to marketing contractors ensuring clear communication of objectives and deadlines.

• Track project progress and performance making adjustments as needed.

CRM Expertise:

• Manage and utilize CRM platforms to drive customer engagement and retention.

• Oversee integration of CRM systems with marketing campaigns and analytics tools.

• Analyze CRM data to identify customer insights and improve marketing strategies.

Technical Knowledge & Collaboration:

• Possess a foundational understanding of technical aspects of web development analytics platforms and marketing automation tools.

• Work closely with technical teams to ensure seamless integration of marketing strategies with digital infrastructure.

• Troubleshoot and coordinate solutions for technical challenges in marketing projects.

Team Leadership:

• Lead inspire and manage a team of marketing contractors and freelancers.

• Provide clear guidance feedback and support to ensure highquality deliverables.

• Facilitate collaboration across teams to align marketing activities with broader business goals.

Analytics & Reporting:

• Track and analyze performance metrics for all marketing activities.

• Create regular reports to communicate campaign results and insights to stakeholders.

• Use data to refine strategies and improve future campaigns.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing management with significant experience in the financial sector.

• Strong understanding of digital marketing channels tools and best practices (e.g. Google Ads SEO tools email marketing platforms).

• Expertise in PR and traditional media including working with newspapers and managing public relations efforts.

• Solid technical knowledge including familiarity with website development analytics platforms and marketing tools.

• Extensive experience working with and managing CRM platforms to enhance marketing campaigns.

• Excellent project management skills with experience delegating tasks and managing teams.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies.

• Degree in Marketing or a related field is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of design and web development basics.

• Familiarity with affiliate marketing programs and partnerships.

• Experience in helping to setup CRM systems.

• A Degree in marketing or project management is a plus.
