Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Database Specialist to join our team on a fulltime basis. The Database Specialist will be responsible for managing and maintaining our clients databases ensuring their security availability and performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database management with experience in both SQL and NoSQL databases. They should also have excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.

Job Description: The Database Specialist will manage and maintain databases ensuring data integrity and performance. Responsibilities include SQL Server and Oracle database management web services and database design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain databases.
- Ensure data integrity and performance.
- Perform SQL Server and Oracle database management.
- Develop web services and database design.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience with SQL Server Oracle SOAP Web Services SOA UML PL/SQL and DB2.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
Work Locations:
- Work must be performed onsite at all DPSCS locations across the State with potential authorization for remote work at the discretion of the Contract Monitor.
- Primary work locations include DPSCS Reisterstown Road Plaza Office Center (RPOC) in Baltimore MD and Maryland State Police (MSP) in Pikesville MD.
- Secondary work locations include various DPSCS facilities across the State.
