Job Description
Position: CNC Swiss Machinist
Shift: 1st Hours: 7AM 3:30PM
Type: FullTime Mode: Direct Placement
Pay Scale: $/hr (Negotiable) Industry: Manufacturing
Our Client is seeking a CNC Swiss Machinist. To be considered for this position applicants will need a minimum of 10 years of experience in the field.
Job Responsibilities:
- Machine Setup: Perform machine setups by loading raw materials selecting and installing appropriate tooling and making necessary programming adjustments on CNC Swiss machines.
- Operation: Operate CNC Swiss machines to produce precision machined metal and plastic parts according to blueprints specifications and customer requirements. Monitor machine operations ensuring optimal performance and make adjustments as necessary.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality checks using precision measuring instruments (such as calipers micrometers and gauges) to verify part dimensions and tolerances. Identify and address any deviations from specifications
- Must be able to setup optimize feed & speeds operate and troubleshoot
- Familiarity with Mitsubishi & Fanuc controls
- Experience independently programming CNC Swiss Machines
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience operating CNC Swiss machines.
- Proficient in setup feed and speed optimization troubleshooting and machine operation.
- Familiarity with Mitsubishi and Fanuc controls is required.
- Experience in programming CNC Swiss machines is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Prior experience working with materials like Inconel and A286 is a plus.
- Skilled in using standard gauges performing inspections and documenting results.
- Demonstrated ability to select set and change tools effectively.
- Background in manufacturing aerospace threaded components or other closetolerance parts is preferred.
