Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detailoriented Laundry Operator to join our team in Mysuru India. As a Laundry Operator you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and quality of linens and uniforms for our organization. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fastpaced environment where efficiency and attention to detail are highly valued.
- Count and process dirty linens and uniforms for laundering
- Operate industrial washing machines dryers and other laundry equipment
- Sort fold and distribute clean linens and uniforms to various departments
- Maintain accurate inventory records of linens and uniforms
- Identify and report items that require repair or replacement
- Ensure proper handling of different fabric types and follow care instructions
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily laundry quotas
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to supervisors
- Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions
Qualifications :
- Primary school education or equivalent
- Good oral proficiency in English
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads
- Keen attention to detail in sorting and handling various types of fabrics
- Basic math skills for counting and inventory management
- Ability to follow safety protocols and operate laundry equipment
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Teamoriented mindset with excellent interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work in shifts including weekends and holidays if required
- Previous experience in laundry operations is a plus but not required as training will be provided
