HGV Mechanic
Salary: 18.50 per hour
Location: Bishop Auckland

About the Role
In this role youll be responsible for servicing maintaining and repairing a wide range of HGVs ensuring theyre safe reliable and performing at their best. Youll carry out diagnostics faultfinding and inspections as well as handling routine servicing and major repairs. With access to modern tools and equipment youll have everything you need to do the job properly.

Working Hours
Monday to Friday
7:30 am 4:30 pm
Overtime available
Key Duties
Perform routine servicing maintenance and repairs on HGVs.
Diagnose faults and carry out inspections to identify issues.
Complete major and minor repairs efficiently and to a high standard.
Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and standards.
Keep accurate records of work carried out and parts used.
Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and maintain quality.
Key Requirements
Proven experience as an HGV Mechanic.
Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
Strong diagnostic and problemsolving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Full UK driving licence (HGV licence preferred but not essential).
