Job Description
What youll do
We are looking for a Head Bartender to join the preopening team at SLS Barcelona. Under the guidance of the Outlet Manager youll be a key player in crafting our awesome beverage lineup and making our place a total hit. Your leadership creativity behind the bar and drive to excellence are what make our guests keep coming back for more.
- Provide clear guidance and direction to the bar team fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Lead by example in crafting innovative and highquality cocktails that align with our brand and what our customers love.
- Train bartenders on our unique recipes mixing techniques and presentation standards to ensure consistency in drink preparation and presentation.
- Team up with management to develop and update the cocktail menu ensuring it reflects our brand identity and current beverage trends.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to make sure our drinks and food are a match made in heaven.
- Conduct regular inspections of the bar area and equipment to ensure everythings running smoothly.
- Oversee cash handling procedures register reconciliation keeping our records spot on.
Qualifications :
What we are looking for...
- 2 years of experience in hospitality within beverage.
- Strong spirits knowledge
- Some college and/or advanced training in food and beverage management valuable.
- Ability to multitask work in a fastpaced environment and have a highlevel attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fluent in Spanish and English.
- You make people feel good your team guests and colleagues alike. You make a positive impact.
- You are an excellent relationship builder confident in working with other teams and leaders; youre passionate about what we can achieve together.
- You take ownership of important issues solve problems and make effective decisions.
