The Senior People Manager is a key and strategic HR business partner to the Global Airports business unit. This position drives the people plan initiatives programs and supports the business to achieve its operational objectives specifically at our two major ports of Sydney and Brisbane. You will partner effectively with the business closely collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure needs are understood and incorporated into HR strategies. To do this it is expected the successful candidate will split their time between Sydney Airport Brisbane Airport and Head Office.

What youll bring to the role:

  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources Business or related fields.
  • Demonstrated business partnering capability with experience in an operational and industrial workforce
  • Proven ability managing change and building organisational capability.
  • Strong stakeholder management ability.
  • Proven ability to work in a matrixed environment with a geographically dispersed workforce
  • Proven interpersonal and relationship development skills.
  • The ability to work autonomously whilst remaining collaborative and considered as a part of a broader team  
  • Strong verbal written and presentation skills with an ability to communicate in both technical and business language.
  • Driven to succeed selfmotivated and able to work independently with limited direction or guidance.
  • Aviation industry knowledge.
