We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic General Catering Assistant to join our team in Harewood United Kingdom. As a key member of our catering staff you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and delivering exceptional customer service in our food service areas.
- Assist in the preparation of food and snacks following recipes and food safety guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in kitchen and restaurant areas at all times
- Provide friendly efficient and hygienic service to all customers
- Ensure prompt and efficient customer service consistently exceeding expectations
- Maintain visibility during service periods being approachable and quick to fulfill customer needs
- Keep service areas and counters clean fully stocked and presentable
- Collaborate with team members to deliver efficient and effective service
- Follow unit cleaning schedules rigorously
- Attend and participate in required food safety health and safety and environmental training courses
- Assist with additional kitchen and service area duties as requested by management
Qualifications :
- Basic food handling and safety knowledge
- Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Team player mentality with a collaborative approach
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods
- Keen attention to detail in food preparation and presentation
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays

- Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality (preferred but not required)
