Job Description
Cloud Engineer: Cloud Engineer Developer is responsible for the analysis design construction testing and implementation of business and technical information technology solutions through application of appropriate software development life cycle methodology.
Responsibilities:
- Design develop and deploy web applications using AWS services such as API Gateway Lambda S3 EC2 Event Bridge Step Functions SQS CloudFormation Templates and DynamoDB
- Develop and maintain serverless architectures using AWS services such as API Gateway CloudFormation and CloudWatch
- Design and develop RESTful APIs using AWS API Gateway and Lambda
- Design and develop cloudnative applications using AWS services such as ECS EKS and Fargate
- Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure using AWS services such as CloudFormation and CloudWatch
- Design and develop serverless applications using AWS services such as Lambda and Step Functions
- Create and maintain automated deployment pipelines using AWS Code Pipeline and Code Build
- Monitor and troubleshoot application performance using AWS services such as CloudWatch and XRay
- Develop and maintain security best practices for AWS services such as IAM KMS and CloudTrail
- Develop & maintain automated backup and disaster recovery solutions using AWS services such as EBS & S3
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AWS services and infrastructure.
- Stay current with new AWS services and features and recommend improvements to existing architecture.
- Assist in cost analysis and budget management for AWS resources.
Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science Information Technology or related field.
- Minimum of 5 plus years of experience in software development with a focus on AWS cloud services.
- Min. 5 plus years of experience in development using NodeJS AWS Lambda API Gateway SQS Event bridge.
- At least 34 years of handson Experience with Microservices Development using Node Serverless Application Development using AWS Lambda and DynamoDB.
- Proficient in AWS services such as Lambda API Gateway CloudFormation S3 SQS Event Bridge DynamoDB RDS EC2 Step Functions etc.
- Proficient in SAM CLI and AWS CDK is plus.
- Strong programming skills in Node.js Typescript and Python are required.
- Experience with DevOps tools like Docker and Kubernetes are preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security practices and infrastructure management.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
