Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Duty Manager to join our team in Mysuru India. As a Duty Manager you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daytoday operations of our hotel ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the highest standards of service.

  • Coordinate and direct various services related to shift operations ensuring smooth and efficient hotel functioning
  • Provide prompt courteous and accurate service to all guests maximising customer satisfaction
  • Ensure the safety and security of guests visitors and employees by working closely with hotel security personnel
  • Optimise room inventory usage through monitoring control and feedback to support departments
  • Oversee emergency operations to minimise hotel losses and liability
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and operational standards by all departmental employees
  • Prepare daily written reports summarising activities and operations during your shift for senior management
  • Resolve guest complaints promptly and effectively taking appropriate actions to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Handle interactions with government officials press and other external stakeholders as needed
  • Authorise payments and open stores in case of emergencies
  • Implement and maintain energysaving policies throughout the hotel
  • Supervise and motivate staff providing guidance and support as necessary

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in hospitality management business administration or a related field (preferred)
  • 57 years of experience in a 45 star hotel with a proven track record in management roles
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide staff effectively
  • Excellent problemsolving abilities and decisiveness in handling complex situations
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and systems
  • Thorough knowledge of hotel operations including front desk housekeeping and food and beverage services
  • Familiarity with company documentation and operational standards
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in the hospitality industry
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays
  • Demonstrated organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Resilience and ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous
