Job Description:
Role & Responsibilities
End to End Collection responsibility across buckets ( 0 to 89 DPD ) for the allocated loan
against property portfolio
Lead in house team of field collection manager daily updates
Develop and implement effective collections strategies and procedures to maximize debt
recovery while maintaining positive customer relationships.
Monitor and analyze the performance of the collections team implementing measures to
improve productivity and success rates.
Review and evaluate delinquent accounts determining appropriate actions to be taken in
accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
Communicate with customers regarding their outstanding debts negotiating payment plans
settlements or other resolutions.
Maintain accurate and uptodate records of all collections activities ensuring compliance with
regulatory guidelines and internal policies.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including legal finance and customer service to
resolve complex or escalated customer issues.
Stay current on industry trends and best practices in collections implementing new strategies or technologies as needed to improve efficiency and results.
Prepare regular reports on collections activities presenting data and insights to senior management.
Key Skills and Competencies as Collection and Recovery Management
Min 4 years Experience in collections in NCR ( soft & hard buckets ) of secured portfolio
Home loan/Lap preferably in large NBFC (LAP) / HFC
Managing the entire Delhi / NCR portfolio with good relationship management skills.
Monitoring the employee code of conduct cash & cheque management and loan settlements.
Coordinate with Credit Sales and Risk Management Units and provided feedback / inputs in
order to improve & control of any risk exposure.
Prepare daily reports and monthly MIS.
Personal Visits to critical delinquent customers for counseling and convincing customers to clear pending dues before initiating legal action.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelors degree in business administration finance or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in collections preferably 5 years in a supervisory or
managerial role.
Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to collections including fair debt
collection practices.
Must have managed the collection of LAP. Preferably in the affordable segment.
Good knowledge of Delhi NCR and nearby areas
Not looking for only unsecured SCM
