Job Description
Role: Looker Core Developer
Location: Remote
Duration: 1 years
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain Looker data models (LookML) and reports to meet business requirements.
Enhance existing dashboards for better performance usability and visual appeal.
Create and optimize Looker dashboards and visualizations to facilitate data analysis and business insights.
Design build and own the process of developing new Looker dashboards.
Develop maintain and enforce coding standards and style guides for LookML development.
Communicate clearly and effectively to technical and nontechnical audiences. Design build and own the process of developing new Looker dashboards.
Develop maintain and enforce coding standards and style guides for Visualization.
Strong understanding of SQL and experience with database querying.
Knowledge of data modeling and ETL processes.
Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools.
Provide training and support to endusers on utilizing visualization tools and interpreting data insights.
Lead and guide the offshore team.
Working in a collaborative environment and interacting effectively with technical and nontechnical team members equally well.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
University or advanced degree in engineering computer science mathematics or a related field.
5 years of total experience with BI Tools and SQL.
35 years of proven experience with Looker Core and LookML including designing and implementing complex data models and dashboards.
Develop maintain and enforce coding standards and style guides for LookML development.
Optimize the performance of Looker queries dashboards and reports to ensure efficiency and responsiveness.
Proficiency in SQL and experience with data warehousing concepts. Familiarity with other BI tools or data visualization platforms is a plus.
Experience with data integration and ETL processes.
Experience with at least one cloud data platforms (e.g. BigQuery SQL Databases)
