Job Description
As the Reservation Manager you will be the cornerstone of our reservations operation responsible for ensuring a seamless booking experience for our guests. Your role will involve leading a team and overseeing the reservation process managing booking systems and collaborating closely with other departments to enhance overall guest satisfaction.
Main duties will include:
- Lead mentor and motivate the reservations team to achieve excellence in service delivery.
- Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure guest expectations are exceeded by facilitating seamless communication and coordination of guest needs and preferences.
- Create operational procedures and systems in order to build a successful reservations team.
- Handle complex reservation arrangements and resolve any issues with professionalism and care.
- Maximise revenue through strategic inventory management across both FIT and Group business.
- Foster effective business relationships with key clients and travel agents through the delivery of outstanding customer service whether over the phone email or facetoface
- Support Revenue Management as required.
Qualifications :
Experience and Skills:
- Previous experience in a reservations or front office management role within a luxury hotel or similar environment.
- Proficiency in reservation software and property management systems including but not limited to Opera Cloud Ideas and experience with ACCOR distribution systems highly regarded.
- Demonstrated passion for luxury service and guest satisfaction. Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining a calm and composed demeanor. Strong problemsolving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Luxury hotel preopening experience highly desirable.
- Full Australian working rights are essential.
