Job Description
37.5 Hours per week. Monday Friday. 8:00 16:00.
As a Stores Operative you will perform routine tasks in the water testing laboratory ensuring priority tasks are carried out efficiently and effectively.
- Unpack boxes and receive samples onto IT System.
- Label sample bottles contact and settle plates
- Prepare Acid
- Print DPD labels
- Print and check manifests (before dispatch)
- Ensure ice packs are readily available
- Mix pack and dispatch test soils
- Print test soil paperwork
- Ensure relevant spreadsheets are kept up to date
- Track boxes in and out of Stores
- Pack boxes (after initial check against manifest)
- Maintain a clean and tidy workplace
- Test Soli Room
- Packing/ Dispatch Benches
- Remove cardboard/ rubbish from stores area
- Sweep and Mop
- Book in received stock items
- Stock Takes/ Rotation of stock
- Make up of PPE Kits
Qualifications :
- Previous experience working within a stores/ dispatch related role
- Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Confident working with a variety IT Systems for example Microsoft Office
