Roles and responsibilities
The Manager Hajj and Umrah Sales is tasked with developing and implementing strategic plans to drive revenue growth and market share in the Hajj and Umrah travel segment. This role involves fostering relationships with organizations and partners, overseeing sales activities, ensuring operational efficiency, and adhering to regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic Hajj and Umrah sales plans to drive revenue growth and market share in the Hajj and Umrah travel segment.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with Hajj and Umrah organizations, travel agencies, and other partners to generate sales leads and secure contracts for group travel arrangements.
- Collaborate with internal departments, including scheduling, operations, customer service and other stakeholders to ensure the seamless execution of Hajj-related travel services.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with Hajj organization and travel agencies to maximize revenue opportunities and ensure profitability.
- Provide guidance and support to the sales team in identifying and pursuing Hajj-related sales opportunities, including group bookings and charter flights.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted sales strategies.
- Coordinate with Hajj authorities, government agencies, and other stakeholders to obtain necessary permits, approvals, and clearances for Hajj-related travel operations.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards in all Hajj-related sales and operations activities.
- Prepare and present comprehensive sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to senior management, highlighting key performance metrics and strategic insights.
- Stay informed about Hajj and Umrah travel trends, religious regulations, and cultural sensitivities to provide knowledgeable and sensitive service to pilgrims>
Desired candidate profile
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum 5 years experience in airline commercial / operations and/or hajj and umrah company
- Proven track record of successful sales management experience in the airline industry or travel sector, with a focus on Hajj and Umrah travel.
- Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office suite, and other relevant sales tools and technology.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend industry events, and conduct sales activities.
- Passion for sales, aviation, and delivering exceptional service to pilgrims traveling for Hajj and Umrah.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with Hajj operators, travel agencies, and other stakeholders.
