The Technician plays a crucial role in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to electrical plumbing HVAC and other mechanical systems to ensure their proper functioning. They are responsible for conducting routine inspections carrying out preventive maintenance tasks and responding promptly to guest requests or emergencies. The Technician also assists in the installation and setup of new equipment and collaborates with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities without causing disruptions to guests. Their expertise and technical skills are essential in ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for guests maintaining the high standards of the residences and upholding its reputation for excellence in hospitality.
Qualifications :
Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required. Additional vocational training or certification in a relevant technical field such as electrical mechanical HVAC plumbing or electronics is preferred.
Experience: 1 2 years of experience in a similar role preferably in a hotel residences or a similar upscale environment.
Adaptability and Flexibility: The Technician should be able to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment and adapt to changing situations. They may need to adjust their schedules or priorities based on the needs of the residences which can include responding to maintenance emergencies or guest requests.
Communication and Teamwork: The Technician in a residences often needs to interact with guests colleagues and other departments. Good communication skills both verbal and written are important for effective collaboration. The ability to work well in a team follow instructions and coordinate tasks with other staff members is crucial.
Equipment and Tool Proficiency: The Technician should be familiar with various tools equipment and instruments used in their respective technical field. They should know how to safely operate and maintain these tools and be knowledgeable about the proper use of testing and diagnostic equipment.
