Job Description: Collection Manager
Position: Collection Manager
Experience Required: 3 to 6 years
Salary: Upto 7 LPA
Location: Gurugram
Industry: Financial Services / Banking
Product Secured and Unsecured
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the collections process for Secured and Unsecured
- Develop and implement effective collection strategies to maximize recovery rates.
- Manage a team of collection agents and guide them in achieving their daily/weekly/monthly targets.
- Analyze delinquency trends and proactively manage potential defaulters.
- Maintain relationships with borrowers to ensure smooth collections including effective communication and negotiations.
- Monitor and report on the collection performance and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Collaborate with the legal department when required for cases needing legal action.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies during the collection process.
- Identify process inefficiencies and work to streamline operations for improved outcomes.
- Handle escalated customer issues and resolve them promptly.
- Regularly update senior management on collection performance and suggest action plans.
Key Requirements:
- 3 to 6 years of experience in collections management particularly in Secured and Unsecured
- Proven track record of leading and motivating a collection team.
- Strong understanding of credit risk collections and debt recovery processes.
- Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage stress and work in a highpressure environment.
- Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and ability to identify areas for improvement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collectionrelated software/tools.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in managing collections teams and leading them to success.
- Familiarity with legal processes for debt recovery.
- Knowledge of regulations and compliance related to loan collections.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration Finance or a related field is preferred.
