Job Description
As a result of significant project pipeline AECOMs Resources and Industrial (R&I) team in our Brisbane office have created a fantastic opportunity for an Associate Director of Electrical Engineering specialising in Hazardous Areas.
You will be a Technical advisor and leader to AECOM Australia wide and New Zealand in Hazardous areas. Advising clients and supporting internal projects across a wide range of industries such as food pharmaceuticals coal defence wastewater gas and bulk fuel distribution systems.
Main Responsibilities
- Serves as lead engineer on mid to large size projects.
- Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staffs specific area of expertise.
- Approve and sign off on work within Hazardous Area classification
- Provides technical expertise for studies and design efforts.
- Performs quality control reviews of work developed by others.
- Participates in development of technical proposals.
- Provides estimates for the engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements on large projects.
Qualifications :
You are a passionate professional Electrical Engineer with proven excellence in client service delivery.
As an Associate Director Electrical Engineer you will have:
- Bachelor of Electrical Engineering
- Hazardous Area classification checking and verification.
- Experience as a facilitator for Risk Assessment (HAZOP HAZID Functional Safety LOPA etc)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all internal and external stakeholders across the project lifecycle.
