Job Description
Role : QA Engineer
Required Exp : 4 to 8 Years
Location : Pune
Job Description :
- A Bachelors degree in computer science software development or a related field
- Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC
- Experienced in Agile Scrum Kanban methodologies
- At least 3 to 4 years of experience in UI functional testing
- At least 3 to 4 years of experience in Android and IOS apps testing
- At least 3 to 4 years of experience in testing different API calls using tools such as postman RestAssured
- Must be able to use all web methods like GET PUT POST DELETE etc
- Validate response response time error code
- Able to validate XML and json body
- Know how to use the authentication and authorisation mechanisms
- Able to Load and Security testing on web services
- Able to read and understand API documents
- Able to get a good number of test cases and scenarios
- To validate API and DB data elements SQL queries should be good
- Experienced in Web app mobile app testing
- Experienced in database testing such as SQL and NO SQL databases
- Expertise in developing test automation frameworks for UI and API testing
- Experienced in source code management tools such as Git Gitlab
- Knowledge of Performance testing using Jmeter Gatling etc is an added advantage
- Experience in CICD for configuring the test automation is an added advantage
Responsibilities :
- Understanding and Analysing the Software Requirements specification document
- Deriving all the possible test cases from an end user perspective
- Writing all the possible tests cases from simple to complex scenarios in JIRA X RAY plugin
- Functional testing of the features issues on Android and IoS at different phases of SDLC
- Conducting API tests using tools such as postman insomnia RestAssured etc
- Conducting UI integrations and E2E tests on different environments on every deployment
- Carrying out the Usability and UAT testing as per the customer requirements
- Reporting the bugs in JIRA to the corresponding team and maintaining the track of open issues in the confluence along with status
- Involving in cross functional team alignment meetings to discuss the open impediments points
- Collaborating with developers and other stakeholders to identify and resolve defects and issues
- Supporting test automation for UI and API integration and E2E testing
- Developing and maintaining automated test scripts using programming languages such as Java Python TypeScript etc
- Creating and executing test plans and test cases to ensure API functionality and performance
- Designing and implementing API testing frameworks and strategies
- Analysing and interpreting test results to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Staying up to date with industry trends and best practices in API testing and automation
- Participating in agile development processes and contributing to continuous improvement efforts
- Conducting load and stress testing to identify performance bottlenecks and scalability issues
