The Operational Excellence Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing strategic initiatives within Guzman y Gomez. From ideation to national rollout you will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to integrate operational excellence into every facet of our projects fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
What you can expect in the role:
- Serve as a subject matter expert in all systems utilised in our restaurants including inventory POS time & attendance and digital platforms
- Prioritise and execute solution and innovation projects to achieve positive business outcomes collaborating closely with key stakeholders
- Assess and communicate the financial impacts of operational trials to relevant departments
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of daily restaurant operations and schedule regular visits for insights and feedback
- Engage collaboratively with franchisees managers and crew to identify opportunities for improvement and prioritise trial/adjustment initiatives
- Support the rollout of projects within established timelines and budgets considering operational impacts
- Coordinate training and communication materials associated with projects and change management
- Actively support field operations teams in implementing new changes and seeking feedback for continuous improvement
- Execute the communication and implementation of the strategic plan in a timely and efficient manner
Youll enjoy the role if you have:
- Experience as an Area Manager Operations Manager or similar role in Quick Service Restaurants Hospitality or Food and Beverage
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- High level of stakeholder management skills
- Project Management experience (highly desirable)
- Excellent problem solving and influencing skills
