Job Description

We are seeking a General Labourer for our afternoon shift starting at 2:00pm11:0pm Monday to Friday.

What youre responsible for:

  • Receive sort and organize different types of nonferrous metals
  • Classify the nonferrous and establish the type of material
  • Properly weigh and track the material
  • Do general maintenance of the premises
  • Ensure the equipment in good condition
  • Data entry into the RECY system
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Help with torch cutting if necessary
  • Preparing shipments and receiving equipment using forklift as required
  • Work with a safety oriented mindset

Qualifications :

To join our team: 

  • Experience operating a forklift is considered an asset
  • Good computer skills and comfortable with technology
  • Experience in metal recycling is beneficial
  • Ability to work indoors/outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Physically able to perform repetitive lifting and standing for long periods of time
  • Comfortable lifting up for 50lbs
