Job Description
We are seeking a General Labourer for our afternoon shift starting at 2:00pm11:0pm Monday to Friday.
What youre responsible for:
- Receive sort and organize different types of nonferrous metals
- Classify the nonferrous and establish the type of material
- Properly weigh and track the material
- Do general maintenance of the premises
- Ensure the equipment in good condition
- Data entry into the RECY system
- Provide excellent customer service
- Help with torch cutting if necessary
- Preparing shipments and receiving equipment using forklift as required
- Work with a safety oriented mindset
Qualifications :
To join our team:
- Experience operating a forklift is considered an asset
- Good computer skills and comfortable with technology
- Experience in metal recycling is beneficial
- Ability to work indoors/outdoors in all weather conditions
- Physically able to perform repetitive lifting and standing for long periods of time
- Comfortable lifting up for 50lbs
