Job Description
**By applying to this job you are applying for the 2025 SPRING TURNAROUND. This role would be joining CEDAs Mobile Workforce which staffs our turnaround events throughout the year.**
Details:
- Start Date: Intake dates start midend of March through to midend of April
(exact training dates will be finalized in early 2025) - Duration: The project(s) will last anywhere from 2 to 8 weeks. There is the possibility for redeployment to other projects or fulltime work upon project completion
- Location: Positions available in the following regions: Fort McMurray Edmonton Conklin Regina and Sarnia.
- Compensation: Hourly rates for folks coming from out of town start at $23.50/hr (travel and accommodations provided). For candidates local to the operating region the hourly rates range from $23.50$29/hr
- Shift: 6x1 or 12x2 shifts at 1012 hours per day days and nights
- Overtime: Overtime eligible! Shifts are based on an 8/44 rule.
- Accommodation and Travel: Provided by CEDA for candidates that are not local to the area
- Training: you can build your skill set and equipment knowledge and acquire various industry tickets through CEDAs shutdown training program.
What you do:
- Work alongside Operators assisting with the operation and maintenance of vacuum trucks high pressure water equipment and various specialty tools
- Work safely at heights up to 100 meters in a labour intensive capacity
- Climb safely into small vessels and tanks with industrial cleaning equipment our experienced crew has your back
- Complete minor maintenance and checks on equipment
- Ensure safety for all team members and property
- Provide quality services to our clients
- Work as part of a team and follow direction from supervision
- Learn new skills every day by rigging in and out specialty equipment
- Leave the job site in better condition that when we got there. Clean safe and job done.
- Haul hoses PPE and tools to where the work is being done
- Complete required paperwork for projects and jobs
- Challenge your eye for detail practice what we preach. Take your time get the job done right the first time and safely every time
What you bring:
- 1 years of labour experience in an industrial environment
- Valid CSO certification (or combination of CSTS09 and OSSA Regional or BSO) is required
- Confined Space and Fall Protection certifications are an asset
- We have great training and your ability to read and write will ensure you meet the testing requirements
- Work shift work (days/nights) of 10 to 12 hours per day
- Able to provide a negative result on a preemployment drug and alcohol test

- Able to perform physically demanding work including climbing multiple flights of stairs and carrying equipment (able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis)

- Youre happiest working in a team sharing a laugh with your coworkers and getting the job done safely
