Public Area Attendant - Housekeeping

The Public Area Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and ensuring the overall presentation of the public areas of our luxury hotel. This role is vital to the overall guest experience ensuring that guests feel comfortable and welcome. 

What you will be doing:

• Clean sanitize and maintain the public areas of the hotel including lobbies corridors restrooms elevators and stairways.
• Ensure all public spaces are free of garbage debris and hazards and maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
• Replenish and maintain supplies such as toilet paper hand soap and paper towels in restrooms and public areas.
• Report maintenance issues or damages in public areas to the appropriate departments (e.g. maintenance housekeeping).
• Respond promptly to guest requests and ensure any concerns are addressed efficiently.
• Ensure proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment according to health and safety guidelines.
• Adhere to all environmental policies and programs as required.
• Other reasonable duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

Your experience and skillset includes: 

• High School diploma an asset
• Previous Housekeeping experience an asset
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong ability to prioritize and manage distribution of workload throughout workday
• Ability to lift and move items stand for long periods and perform physical tasks as required.

You may be required to work on holidays weekends overnights and other nonday shifts. Submission of your application to Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise indicates that you are able to meet these requirements as needed.
