The Storekeeper is responsible for efficiently managing inventory and supporting maintenance operations by ensuring proper handling, storage, and distribution of parts and supplies. This role involves maintaining accurate records of stock levels, inspecting deliveries for discrepancies, rotating stock, and coordinating the shipment and receipt of items. The Storekeeper also ensures compliance with safety procedures, inventory management practices, and regulatory standards while contributing to the seamless operation of maintenance activities. Attention to detail, effective coordination, and adherence to safety protocols are critical to the success of this role.

Adhere to Regulations: Ensure compliance with regulatory standards for storing and handling goods, particularly if dealing with hazardous materials, food, or medical supplies.
Follow Company Policies: Adhere to company policies related to inventory management, health and safety, and quality control to ensure smooth operations.
Audit Compliance: Support internal audits by providing necessary documentation and ensuring that stock levels and procedures meet company standards.
Skills and Qualifications:
Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in inventory management, stock picking, and documentation.
Organizational Skills: Ability to maintain an orderly and efficient storage system that allows easy access to products.
Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve discrepancies in stock levels and handle any logistical or operational challenges.
Communication Skills: Good communication skills to collaborate with other departments and vendors and to document and report inventory data.
Basic Computer Skills: Proficiency in using inventory management software, spreadsheets, and basic computer applications for record-keeping and reporting.
Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy items, stand for long periods, and perform physical tasks related to stocking and organizing inventory.
Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safety standards for handling goods, particularly if working with hazardous materials or heavy equipment.
