(Secondary) Research Officer Ecommerce Fashion Retail (Policy & Macro)
The Group is a prominent player in the ecommerce sector specializing in online sales within the fashion and retail industries. With a strong presence in Hong Kong and China the company is committed to leveraging big data and policy research to drive its growth and innovation.
The Group is seeking a Research Officer to support its General Manager in conducting comprehensive data analysis and policy research. This role emphasizes secondary research analyzing trends and generating reports to inform business strategies.
Responsibilities
- Data Analysis: Conduct indepth secondary research utilizing big data to gather insights relevant to ecommerce and retail policy.
- Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports that summarize findings and provide actionable recommendations for the business.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the General Manager to align research efforts with organizational goals and strategies.
- Market Insights: Analyze market trends in the fashion retail sector to support informed decisionmaking.
- Travel: Frequent travel to Guangdong may be required to collaborate with the local teams.
Qualifications
- A background in statistics economics or government policy is preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in research particularly focused on secondary data analysis.
- Familiarity with ecommerce and retail policies in China is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate meaningful insights.
- Fluency in both Chinese and English is required.
