The Aircraft Performance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring accurate aircraft performance data and compliance with aviation regulations, supporting safe and efficient flight operations through monitoring, training, and coordination with key personnel.
Key Responsibilities
Monitoring Aircraft Performance
BSc in Aerospace / Aeronautical Engineering or an Equivalent.
Minimum 5 years airline experience in aircraft performance field including working knowledge in the set-up and configuration of Airbus Flysmart applications for EFB.
Knowledgeable on AHM 560/565 data construction and reweigh calculation and validation.
Skilled in analysing Airbus Weight & Balance + PEP + LTS + IT Networking (Gateway).
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of aircraft systems, performance characteristics, and flight operations. Proficiency in analyzing performance data and understanding aerodynamics and engine performance.
Data Analysis Skills: Proficient in the use of data analysis tools and software for tracking, interpreting, and reporting on aircraft performance data (e.g., flight data monitoring software, Excel, or specialized aviation tools).
Attention to Detail: Ability to closely monitor performance data, identify trends, and ensure the accuracy of performance calculations and reports.
Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills to identify performance issues and recommend effective solutions.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with flight crews, maintenance teams, management, and regulatory authorities.
Leadership and Coordination: Ability to lead performance optimization initiatives and work cross-functionally with multiple teams within the airline or aircraft operation company.
Safety Awareness: Deep understanding of aviation safety standards and a commitment to maintaining the highest safety levels in flight operations.
