The Revenue Manager, will play a crucial role in maximizing our revenue through strategic pricing, inventory management, and sales forecasting. You will work closely with our Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to optimize our revenue strategy for both accommodations and F&B offerings.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective pricing strategies for rooms and F&B outlets to maximize revenue.
Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and demand patterns to adjust pricing and inventory accordingly.
Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to design promotional packages that drive revenue.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to occupancy, average daily rate (ADR), and revenue per available room (RevPAR).
Conduct regular reviews of the F&B menu pricing and promotions to ensure profitability and competitiveness.
Lead weekly revenue meetings, providing insights and recommendations to enhance revenue performance.
Utilize revenue management systems and tools to track performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Provide training and support to team members on revenue management practices.
Revenue Strategy Development
Develop Pricing Strategies: Set and adjust pricing for rooms, packages, and other services based on market demand, competitor pricing, and internal goals. This includes dynamic pricing and rate adjustments for different times of the year, booking channels, and customer segments.
Implement Yield Management: Use yield management techniques to maximize revenue by balancing supply and demand. Monitor and adjust room availability and pricing to optimize occupancy rates and revenue.
Forecast Demand: Analyze historical data, current trends, and external factors (e.g., local events, holidays) to forecast demand accurately. This helps in anticipating booking patterns and adjusting pricing and inventory accordingly.
Revenue Optimization: Focus on maximizing overall revenue by optimizing the use of available inventory. Ensure that high-demand periods are priced correctly, while also managing underperforming periods to maintain profitability.
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in revenue management, preferably in a hotel setting with both rooms and F&B focus.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Proficiency in revenue management systems and software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven track record of driving revenue growth and optimizing pricing strategies.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with various departments and stakeholders, and to present revenue performance insights.
Leadership and Team Collaboration: Ability to lead a team and work collaboratively with other departments (sales, marketing, front office, finance) to achieve revenue goals.
Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate with third-party booking channels to secure favorable terms for the hotel.
Adaptability: Ability to adjust strategies based on changing market conditions, customer preferences, and competitor actions.
