The Team

The Role
As a Release Manager you will play a critical role in overseeing and coordinating the release management processes for software applications related to market access. Key responsibilities include:
- Release Planning: Develop and maintain release schedules ensuring alignment with internal/external project timelines and business objectives.
- Coordination: Facilitate communication between development QA operations and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth release activities.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive release documentation including functional change logs deployment plans and postrelease reviews.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with releases.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all releases meet quality standards and compliance requirements prior to deployment.
- Continuous Improvement: Optimize release management processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders regarding release statuses and updates.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Finance or a related field.
- Experience: Handson experience in release management preferably within financial services or investment banking.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient with release management tools.
- Familiar with Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of Python scripting and Unix environments.
- Certifications: Scrum Master certification is a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage both technical and nontechnical stakeholders effectively.
