About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to support critical operations within the Intelligence Community. This position involves leveraging advanced data science techniques integrating diverse data sources and developing models to support decisionmaking in a dynamic and evolving data environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply advanced research techniques to solve complex problems within the Intelligence Community.
- Develop and optimize models for object detection and characterization using tools such as Python TensorFlow and PyTorch.
- Train foundation models and finetune them for specific intelligence requirements.
- Integrate diverse data sources and formats into comprehensive databases.
- Produce detailed documentation reports and visualizations to communicate findings effectively.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to advance analytic tradecraft and ensure project success.
Essential Skills and Competencies:
- Strong conceptual quantitative research and organizational abilities.
- Exceptional communication skills to present analyses clearly in both written and graphical formats.
- Problemsolving mindset with the ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
- Teamoriented with strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using standard tools like Microsoft Office products and computing networks.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in a technical field (e.g. computer science mathematics statistics) with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrated data science expertise including machine learning computer vision and object detection.
- Proficiency in Python and/or R.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with the required Polygraph.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with PyTorch Keras and overhead imagery.
- Masters degree in a technical field with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
