Job Description
Position: FEMA Project Analyst
Northwest Talent Solutions LLC is working with an esteemed federal government contracting client in search for a highly skilled Project Analyst. For this role the successful hire will have solid skills within MS Excel and data analysis while also possessing a degree in one of the social sciences.
As a FEMA Project Analyst you will play a crucial role in supporting our client in their disaster recovery efforts. You will be responsible for providing project management support and analysis for FEMAfunded projects ensuring compliance with federal regulations and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct research and analysis of FEMA policies guidelines and regulations to ensure compliance with project requirements
Develop and maintain project timelines budgets and deliverables
Coordinate with project team members and stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate completion of project tasks
Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to management and clients
Prepare and submit required project reports and documentation to FEMA and other relevant agencies
Identify and mitigate potential project risks and issues
Assist in the development and implementation of project plans and strategies
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify and implement process improvements
Stay uptodate on FEMA policies and guidelines to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for improvement
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Sociology Emergency Management Criminal Justice Psychology or a related discipline.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management preferably in a FEMAfunded project or disaster recovery environment
Knowledge of FEMA policies guidelines and regulations
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software
Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment
