Job Description
Position: Controller

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to join our clients team on a fulltime basis. The Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations and providing strategic financial guidance to the executive team.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all financial operations of the company including budgeting forecasting and financial reporting
Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance
Manage daytoday accounting functions including accounts payable accounts receivable and payroll
Prepare and present financial statements and reports to the executive team
Monitor cash flow and manage banking relationships
Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations for improving profitability and efficiency
Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations
Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including clients vendors and financial institutions
Lead and mentor accounting team members
Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
CPA certification or MBA preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
Experience with financial reporting and analysis
Proficient in accounting software and MS Office
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong leadership and team management abilities
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
