We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Spa Receptionist with a background in spa therapy to join our team. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to combine your customer service expertise with your therapeutic knowledge to deliver exceptional service in our tranquil and inviting hotel spa.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests to the spa with a warm, professional, and friendly demeanor.
- Manage spa bookings and appointments efficiently, ensuring the schedule is optimized and all services are properly arranged.
- Provide information about available spa treatments, packages, and pricing, offering recommendations based on guests' needs and preferences.
- Perform client check-in and check-out procedures, process payments, and ensure accuracy in records.
- Assist with the daily operations of the spa, including maintaining a clean and organized reception area.
- Act as a liaison between guests and therapists, ensuring smooth communication and exceptional service delivery.
- Use your knowledge of spa therapy to offer tailored advice and suggestions to clients, enhancing their spa experience.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist spa therapists when necessary, such as preparing treatment rooms or managing supplies.
- Promote retail products and upsell services and packages to enhance the guest experience.
- Ensure that the spa operates in compliance with hotel policies and health & safety standards.
Desired candidate profile
- Female and Arabic speaker
- Previous experience as a Spa Receptionist or in a similar customer service role, preferably in a hotel or wellness setting.
- Background as a certified Spa Therapist with hands-on experience in delivering spa treatments (e.g., massage, facials, etc.).
- Knowledge of various spa therapies and wellness services to provide accurate information and recommendations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
- Organizational skills with attention to detail in handling bookings and payments.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in basic computer systems and booking software (experience with spa management software is a plus).
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
