Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the spa, Gym & Pool including treatment rooms, waiting areas, changing rooms and common areas
Prepare and stock treatment rooms with necessary supplies and linens.
Assist spa therapists and technicians with preparing for treatments.
Ensure all spa amenities (towels, robes, beverages, etc.) are available and replenished as needed.
Provide guests with information about spa services, packages, and promotions.
Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and spa policies.
1. Guest Assistance and Customer Service
Welcoming Guests: Greet spa guests warmly upon arrival, ensure they are comfortable, and guide them to the appropriate areas such as changing rooms, relaxation areas, or treatment rooms.
Providing Information: Answer guests’ questions about the spa services, treatments, available packages, and facility amenities. Provide information about the spa's policies, such as check-in/check-out times, dress code, and cancellation policies.
Assisting Guests: Help guests with special requests, such as providing towels, robes, slippers, or refreshments. Ensure guests have everything they need to enjoy their experience fully.
Handling Complaints: Address any guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
2. Maintaining Spa Cleanliness and Organization
Cleanliness of Treatment Rooms: Ensure that all treatment rooms are thoroughly cleaned and prepared before and after each treatment, replenishing necessary supplies like towels, linens, and disposable items.
Sanitizing Equipment and Facilities: Regularly clean and sanitize spa facilities, such as pools, saunas, hot tubs, restrooms, changing areas, and relaxation lounges, to maintain hygiene and a high standard of cleanliness.
Restocking Supplies: Keep track of spa supplies (e.g., towels, robes, slippers, toiletries, oils, lotions, etc.) and restock them when needed to ensure a seamless guest experience.
3. Preparing Treatment Rooms and Equipment
Room Setup: Prepare treatment rooms by setting up the necessary equipment, supplies, and products for various spa treatments, ensuring that the room is clean, organized, and calming.
Changing Linens and Towels: Replace soiled linens and towels between guest treatments, ensuring fresh, clean, and hygienic environments for every guest.
Monitoring Spa Amenities: Ensure the availability and proper function of spa amenities such as steam rooms, saunas, hot tubs, or Jacuzzis.


Desired candidate profile


Previous experience in a similar role or guest service position is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and carrying.

Customer Service: Excellent interpersonal skills to provide guests with a positive and welcoming experience, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
Attention to Detail: Ability to notice small details in cleanliness, organization, and guest needs to maintain high standards.
Physical Stamina: The role may require standing for long periods and assisting with various physical tasks, such as cleaning or moving equipment.
Knowledge of Spa Operations: A general understanding of spa treatments, services, and amenities, and how they function in a spa environment.
Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently, especially in a busy spa setting, to ensure all areas of the spa are well-maintained and guests are attended to in a timely manner.
Teamwork: Ability to collaborate with other spa staff to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
