Job Description
Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Senior Engineer in Painting and Coating with over 20 years of expertise in the field including significant experience in nuclear environments. The ideal candidate will lead the analysis evaluation and implementation of painting and coating solutions focusing on compliance with the Clients qualification requirements and adaptation to the Indian context. The role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of industry standards supplier evaluation and technical specification development.
Qualifications :
Education:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemical Engineering Materials Science or a related field.
Experience:
20 years of experience in painting and coating engineering with significant exposure to nuclear industry applications.
Skills:
- Indepth knowledge of qualification requirements and international painting/coating standards.
- Strong analytical and strategic planning skills.
- Proven track record in supplier evaluation and technical specification development.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Certifications:
- Relevant industry certifications in coatings and quality assurance are highly desirable.
- NACE Coating Inspector Program (CIP) Level 3 certificate is a must.
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor
- BIS knowledge specifically IS 101 for paints and related standards.
Following certifications are desirable and shall be an added advantage:
- SSPC Protective Coatings Specialist (PCS)
- Certified Coatings Applicator Specialist (CCAS)
Additional Information :
- Experience in working with multinational teams and managing largescale projects.
- Previous work experience in Nuclear sector is a must
