Job Description

As the Education Manager you will lead the education strategy within your assigned territory adapting the North America strategy to meet the specific needs of your region. You will be responsible for driving the achievement of retail sales goals elevating client service standards and increasing Beauty Stylist retention and productivity. This will be achieved through the delivery of tailored training seminars driving pointofsale initiatives and providing coaching and specialized training in key doors. By collaborating closely with the sales team you will focus on reducing turnover by developing highly motivated knowledgeable and productive Beauty Stylists and Counter Managers. Your role will ensure alignment with Diors core values and longterm vision for people development while continuously adapting strategies to meet local market demands.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with local Field Sales management and the corporate Education Team to assess training needs and develop action plans to achieve sales goals across the territory.
  • Conduct training seminars for Beauty Stylists and Counter Managers including seasonal seminars Basic Induction Seminars and specialization seminars based on business needs.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to Beauty Stylists with an emphasis on business approach entrepreneurship and product knowledge.
  • Train all counters in partnership with Account Executives on standard D.I.O.R. Art of Selling techniques reinforcing the brands values and approach.
  • Conduct induction training for newly hired Beauty Stylists in Focus Doors and oversee induction strategies for the territory.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to ensure necessary education materials are available for stores not covered by Education Managers.
  • Guide the usage of key tools such as DBR Business Planner and DiorDirect Client Card through instore and seminar trainings.
  • Drive launch sellthrough through seminar training pretraining calls instore selling and collaboration with AEs team.
  • Provide fragrance expertise training particularly with Fragrance Bar Consultants and drive fragrance expertise plans.
  • Conduct followup coaching sessions to improve Beauty Stylists selling skills and product knowledge fostering an adaptable and proactive sales culture.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance focusing on product sellthrough and business mix in top doors.
  • Participate in the selection and interview process for Beauty Stylists and Counter Managers in top doors.
  • Work with Counter Managers to enhance product knowledge develop selling skills and encourage team management and business analysis skills.
  • Evaluate skills and training needs for Counter Managers and Beauty Stylists and provide ongoing professional development.
  • Build positive relationships with Fragrance Associates and conduct instore and seasonalfocused trainings.
  • Lead training for special events with Beauty Stylists and appropriate selling specialists in seminars and top doors.
  • Ensure that local market training needs align with budgetary parameters set by the RVP and VP of Retail Development.
  • Foster a motivational challenging and supportive work environment to reduce Beauty Stylist turnover and promote employee growth.
  • Enforce Diors image guidelines and maintain a professional appearance instore and during training sessions.
  • Maintain productive communication and partnership with the Regional Sales Director and Account Executives.
  • Measure the impact of training programs on sales performance team productivity and client satisfaction.
  • Be responsible for career path induction and the professionalization of Beauty Consultants (BCs) ensuring a focus on their longterm growth within the company.
  • Adapt training and coaching approaches to different team needs ensuring a proactive and tailored approach to each situation.
  • Contribute to building partnerships with various departments within the organization to enhance business objectives and team performance.

Qualifications :

  • 5 years of experience in prestige cosmetics sales education and training (including sellthrough expertise)
  • Excellent communicator in French & English both verbal & written
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills
  • Strong product knowledge and passion for the beauty industry
  • Coaching skills with a focus on entrepreneurship business development and employee growth
  • Selfmotivated adaptable and proactive team player
  • Ability to measure the impact of training initiatives on sales and productivity.
  • Ability to collaborate and build partnerships with crossfunctional teams.
  • Travel varies by territory and may be extensive. 30% time
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and judgment.

While the published salary range is a good faith reflection of the targeted salary level for the position LVMH Inc. reserves the right to pay outside of the published range of $4045 CAD/hr.
