The Details
As a Software Engineer in one of our 30 engineering platforms operating at hyperscale receiving thousands of requests per second youll work as part of strong cross functional agile team driving quality and technology bringing your skills and experience to share with the team and mentor the other engineers day to day.
With around 5000 new products going live every week there is huge scope to provide capabilities which allow our colleagues to improve their efficiency and make more effective decisions driving a better product offer to our fashion loving twentysomething customers.
Our approach to development focuses heavily on pair programming TDD and Continuous Delivery.
This role is apart of our Software Engineering Flexible Sales Channels team.
What our day looks like:
- Work as part of an enthusiastic and motivated agile development team that takes pride in delivering highquality software into production.
- Take a test first approach from business requirements through to code.
- You will continually develop and improve our code and technology playing a key role in the team.
- Writing high quality code to drive company growth and effectiveness of the buying and merchandising teams who use our software.
- Join our regular Tech Develops days to learn new things take part in internal and external hackathons share your knowledge and help to drive improvements in engineering.
- Supporting our culture by championing Diversity Equity & Inclusion strategies.
Qualifications :
About You
- Experience with software deliveryin an iterative continuous delivery environment that ships value frequently.
- Experience integrating with 3rd parties.
Wed love it if you have experience in building applications with
- Latest versions of .NET Framework. .NET Standard and .NET Core (C#)
- Azure Service Bus
- Azure Cosmos DB SQL DB
- GitHub Azure DevOps pipelines
- ATDD/BDD
- Kanban/Scrum
- Devops
