Job Description
We are looking for experienced software engineers who are excited about the leading our professional services team as we accelerate our business.
As a member of the team you will help us analyze integrations with new clients review data models for ETL processing into our platform developing custom front end and back end functionality to enable custom requirements acting as a lead for more junior engineers to ensure solution correctness and providing mentorship. You will be customer facing to field questions that may rise during the integration process. In addition develop the APIs services and infrastructure that powers our bestinclass studio management software and customerfacing products. You will work closely with a smart and dedicated team to solve challenging problems across a variety of domains including ecommerce internationalization reporting and many more.
Some of the other responsibilities youll have include:
- Contributing clean performant code
- Designing building and maintaining reliable publicfacing APIs
- Collaborating closely with product stakeholders designers and your fellow engineers to deliver features that support our business objectives
- Refactoring and optimizing code in line with existing and emergent best practices
- Proactively writing tests and documentation to ensure the health and maintainability of shipped code
- Providing constructive feedback on your colleagues pull requests and accept constructive feedback on your own PRs in return
- Participating actively and thoughtfully in the full Agile development lifecycle from planning to testing to release
Qualifications :
You may be a good fit for this role if you have experience with:
- 10 years of experience building web applications in a fullstack capacity.
- Experience in working with relational databases PostgreSQL/RDS Aurora a significant plus (NoSQL datastore knowledge nicetohave)
- Experience implementing externally facing APIs
- Bonus points for experience building SaaS platforms or customerfacing applications
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
- Working with technologies and frameworks similar to those we use most often. Our stack includes Python Django DRF Javascript Ember.js and React. While direct experience with these technologies is certainly an asset related experience and an eagerness to learn are great too!
- Communicating clearly and kindly with technical and nontechnical colleagues.
