Job Description
Main Responsibilities:
- Implement sales activities for meetings incentives conferences and exhibitions (MICE) to meet goals set in the Sales & Marketing Plan.
- Solicit and serve local/international corporate accounts generating and maintaining customer relationships through various sales activities.
- Optimise banquet and meetings revenues through proactive sales calls and coordination with the F&B department.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of hotel products rates and promotions including those of competitors.
- Provide market intelligence and feedback on changing market conditions to the Director of Sales & Marketing.
- Ensure timely response to business requests (within 24 hours) and adhere to Accor Hotels Sales & Marketing Policies and Standard Operational Procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to maximise sales opportunities and ensure excellent client servicing.
- Represent the hotel professionally at major events and maintain a high standard of personal appearance and conduct.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a sales position preferably at 4 or 5 stars hotel
- Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management / Business Administration
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Understands the local culture and have worked in the region
- Good communication skills
- Fluence in other language is an advantage
