Senior Quantity Surveyor ME

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor (M&E) to join our team in Singapore Singapore. In this role you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial aspects of mechanical and electrical (M&E) projects ensuring costeffectiveness and quality control throughout the project lifecycle.

• Prepare detailed cost estimates bills of quantities and tender documents for M&E projects
• Analyze and evaluate tenders providing recommendations to the project team
• Conduct cost planning value engineering and life cycle costing for M&E systems
• Manage contract administration including change orders variations and claims
• Perform regular cost monitoring and reporting identifying potential cost overruns
• Collaborate with project managers engineers and contractors to optimize project costs
• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing
• Prepare monthly cost reports and final accounts for M&E projects
• Implement and maintain cost control systems and procedures
• Provide expert advice on M&E systems and components to the project team
• Stay updated on industry trends regulations and sustainable building practices

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying Building Economics or a related field
• Professional membership in a recognized quantity surveying institution (e.g. RICS)
• Minimum 57 years of experience in M&E quantity surveying
• Proven experience in largescale commercial or industrial projects
• Proficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g. CostX Causeway)
• Strong knowledge of M&E systems components and installation processes
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel
• Advanced contract management and negotiation skills
• Indepth understanding of local building codes and regulations in Singapore
• Familiarity with sustainable building practices and green technologies
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
