We are seeking a Senior Learning & Development (L&D) Specialist for our client a leading petrochemical MNC. The incumbent is expected to have experience managing L&D projects in a manufacturing/engineering environment with an opportunity to grow personally & professionally in a peoplecentric organisation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a technical skills framework for employees.
- Collaborate with line managers to identify training needs and key skills required at each level.
- Identify and create onthejob training (OJT) checklists based on the required skills and competencies.
- Source relevant courses or external skill frameworks based on the specific needs and challenges of each role
- Review and manage the Training Matrix in alignment with the established skills framework.
- Coordinate the Training Matrix review process with Learning Leads.
- Develop a training matrix for nontechnical roles categorized by function.
- Design a development program for people managers based on identified learning needs.
- Support the creation of an eLearning course for Managers.
- Work with vendors to facilitate the review and development of training materials.
- Create and manage courses programs audiences and campaigns to automate the assignment of training when needed.
- Maintain and update courses programs audiences and campaigns to ensure ongoing automation of training assignments.
Requirements
- Minimum of 35 years of relevant experience in a Learning and Development or Project Management role.
- A degree in Business or a related field or an Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment/Learning and Performance.
- Experience with elearning platforms and practices.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
- Ability to build relationships with stakeholders employees and vendors.
