TAS Telehealth Medical Practitioner - Contract OR Permanent

Alternaleaf is Montus leading clinic focused on a holistic approach to alternative medicine. We are seeking dedicated Doctors to join our team on a either a contract or permanent basis in either a parttime or fulltime capacity. We are open to all Medical Practitioners not only GPs.

As an Alternaleaf prescriber you will be conducting Telehealth consultations via Amazon Connect and prescribing alternative treatment plans to patients for a spectrum of physical and mental conditions. Youll influence both patient outcomes and clinical satisfaction through bestinclass systems protocols and ongoing support and help shape the evolving healthcare landscape by developing clinical insights setting industry benchmarks and influencing regulatory standards that define patient care.

• Contract or Permanent opportunities available: Choose the hours and days that suit you best ensuring a perfect worklife balance. This could be fulltime or parttime.
• Work From Home: Work from the comfort of your home anywhere in Australia (excluding South Australia).
• Comprehensive Training: We provide full training to equip you with the knowledge and skills needed as well as full assistance with gaining your Authorised Prescriber Licence for all categories. We cover the costs of this ($2000) and our SAGED accredited courses count towards your CPD hours. 
• Dedicated Support: Clinical support and education available throughout clinical hours by our Doctor Support Team
• Competitive salary: Base salary for permanent or consult rate for contract.

Qualifications :

We are seeking Doctors who have an interest in alternative health treatments and have an ongoing commitment to our patients and the Alternaleaf team.

• Medical Degree
• General registration with AHPRA with nil restrictions or conditions. Limited or provisional registration not accepted.
• Full working rights we do not offer sponsorship
• Experience working within the Australian healthcare system
• Authorised Prescriber (AP) for medicinal cannabis highly regarded but not mandatory
• Availability to work a minimum of 15.2 hours per week 
• Medical Indemnity Insurance covering telehealth & prescribing for schedule 8 medications including medical cannabis
• Able to obtain a Medicare Provider Number 
• Must be based in Australia (we do not offer the ability to work form overseas) 
• Excellent communication strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a fastpaced and agile environment

Additional Information :

You will be joining a highly motivated dynamic team who will support you on your journey from the start. The Education team will take you through onboarding ensuring you are equipped with all the knowledge needed to run consults. You will have a designated Doctor Support Team Leader to assist with any queries during clinic operating hours including monthly 1:1s and individualised fortnightly data reports.
