To develop our Supplier Quality Management System within the QA organization we are looking for a Raw Material Quality Engineer .
In this role you will be preferably located in our manufacturing site of Rodange (L).
Your main missions will be:
- Define & monitor the storage process and documentary review of supplier specifications (Raw Material Specification / Technical datasheet COAs GRMS...)
- Strengthen our position regarding the management of raw materials in connection with the ISO 9001 program & expectation of Automotive Business
- Standardize and improve the information and specifications received from our suppliers
- Develop new tools to better track supplier performance and supporting automated supplier performance trackers
- Improve our overall Raw Material quality performance linked to supplier issues
- Support root cause analyses on operational problems linked to raw material quality and work closely with suppliers to improve efficiency
- Track supplier corrective action plans and their efficiency
Qualifications :
For this challenge we are looking for someone with a Supplier Performance background with an engineering academic background.
In addition
- You have an expertise in Quality & Lean management (Six Sigma)
- You have an expertise in ISO 9001 VDA norms and FSC certification is a plus
- You are characterized by a high sense of responsibility intercultural competence and a spirit of persuasion
- You have a high level of motivation strong communication and teamwork skills
- You understand complex problems quickly and work in a solutionoriented manner
- Good data analytical skills
- A professional experience (at least 6 months) in a supplier improvement/management program is a plus
- Experience in IT tools development (Google Workspace IBM Cognos...). Data science & Python skills are considered a plus.
- You speak and write fluently French and English
