Prompt Engineer

• Create and Optimize Prompts: Design develop and refine highquality prompts for large language models (LLMs) and imagegenerative AI systems to ensure relevant accurate and creative outputs tailored to business needs.
• Experiment and Iterate: Conduct experiments with different prompt formulations to identify effective strategies for improving model behavior accuracy and creativity. Iterate based on results and feedback.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with machine learning engineers data scientists and product teams to understand project requirements and incorporate prompt design into model development processes.
• Monitor and Evaluate Model Performance: Track and evaluate the performance of prompts across various model versions and applications identifying opportunities for improvements in prompt efficacy.
• Stay Current on AI Trends: Keep up to date with the latest advancements in natural language processing (NLP) and generative models including new techniques for prompt engineering and optimization.
• Document and Share Knowledge: Maintain thorough documentation on prompt development practices learnings and best practices. Share insights across teams to ensure consistency and continuous improvement.

Qualifications :

• Prompt Engineering Experience: At least 1 year of experience in prompt engineering with a demonstrated ability to create and optimize effective prompts for generative AI models.
• Experience with AI Models: Handson experience with different types of large language models (e.g. GPT BERT) or image generation models (e.g. DALLE Stable Diffusion).
• Strong Communication Skills: Ability to clearly express prompt strategies and model behavior to both technical and nontechnical team members.
• Analytical and Iterative Mindset: Strong problemsolving skills with an ability to design and evaluate experiments to improve model outputs. Comfort with iteration and adapting strategies based on feedback.
• Creative Thinking: Ability to think creatively and push the boundaries of model outputs through innovative prompt designs.

Preferred but Not Required Qualifications

• Experience with various generative AI tools and platforms (e.g. OpenAI Hugging Face Google Cloud AI etc.).
• Familiarity with Python or other programming languages commonly used in AI/ML tasks is desirable. Understanding of AI model behavior and finetuning is a plus.
• Familiarity with model finetuning and how it relates to prompt performance.
• Previous work in a collaborative crossfunctional environment with data scientists engineers and product managers.
