Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a minimum of 5 years of expertise in analyzing business domains documenting processes and assessing business models and their integration with technology. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to identify requirements design solutions and ensure successful implementation.
This is an initial 6 month contract extendable up to 24 months.
Responsibilities
- Represent and define process requirements during process design.
- Develop detailed process designs and documentation.
- Conduct GAP analyses between business processes and SAP functionality.
- Execute unit testing for configuration and custom developments.
- Support security data conversion batch processing and system performance testing.
- Provide postimplementation support to end users on production systems.
- Participate in solution scoping planning and knowledge transfer sessions.
- Facilitate workshops to identify and address solution gaps.
- Contribute to solution design activities and integration requirements for thirdparty and external systems.
- Provide master data inputs and review data conversion approaches.
- Assist in defining batch job schedules and parameters.
- Validate business process design deliverables and determine UAT test scripts.
- Support the development of technical architecture deliverables.
- Participate in integration and user acceptance testing.
- Acquire solution knowledge for postimplementation support and ongoing maintenance.
- Review and resolve data definition conflicts across modules engaging other leads as necessary.
- Collaborate with user communities to understand and document data requirements.
- Ensure business requirements are met by the SAP system.
- Provide feedback to change management teams on communication strategies change plans job role definitions and training materials.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Commerce or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in process reengineering.
- At least 2 years of experience writing use cases.
- Experience working on SAP projects.
- Strong communication consulting and client relationship skills.
- Proven ability to clearly convey complex technical and business concepts to diverse audiences.
- Skilled in problem identification information gathering and decisionmaking.
Preferred:
- Accreditation from a recognized Business Analyst professional association.
- Familiarity with the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK).
- Experience working in the public sector.
