Skills
- At least 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer or in a similar handson mechanical role
- Familiarity with machinery and automation systems is highly preferred
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor; knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus
- Strong understanding of GD&T blueprint reading and mechanical design principles
- Demonstrated realworld experience with mechanical systems machinery or fabrication processes
- Ability to manage multiple projects meet deadlines and deliver highquality work
- Effective communication skills and teamwork mentality
Responsibilities
- Design and optimize mechanical components and systems using 3D modeling software
- Create and interpret technical drawings blueprints and specifications
- Leverage knowledge of geometry mathematics and GD&T to achieve tight tolerances
- Develop and maintain engineering documents including Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to align designs with manufacturing capabilities
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues through handson problemsolving
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering or a similar role
- Proven experience with large machinery involving motion
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles
Education Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Education Requirements Credential Category
- Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred but not required
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years in mechanical engineering or a similar handson role
