Anarust Inc. is seeking a talented and passionate Remote Game Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a creative problemsolver with a strong understanding of game design principles and a proven track record of success in developing engaging and innovative game experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop game mechanics systems and features.
- Create and maintain game balance and progression systems.
- Develop and document game design documents including game concepts design specifications and prototypes.
- Collaborate with artists programmers and other team members to bring game concepts to life.
- Conduct playtesting and gather player feedback.
- Analyze player data and make adjustments to game design based on player behavior.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in game design.
- Contribute to the overall vision and direction of game projects.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Game Design Computer Science or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional game design experience.
- Strong understanding of game design principles including game mechanics level design narrative design and player experience.
- Experience with game development tools and software (e.g. Unity Unreal Engine).
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Passion for games and a strong understanding of the gaming industry.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Portfolio of previous game design work required.
