The Roofing Estimator will manage multiple projects focusing on design estimating owner selections and execution ensuring the best customer experience with transparency excellence and integrity at the core. This role goes beyond a typical sales/project manager/estimator position as it specializes in highend custom roof systems that involve complex roofs with valleys flat sections and multistory components. The estimator will analyze aerial view roof reports and create detailed estimates that outline the labor and materials necessary to complete each job.

Responsibilities
- Perform detailed estimates for residential projects (shingle tile & metal)
- Analyze requirement documents blueprints and project plans to understand the project thoroughly
- Determine factors of production that will influence costs
- Maintain current market pricing for materials in the estimating system
- Generate job cost reports
- Develop and maintain relationships with company vendors and contractors
- Conduct handoff meetings with assigned project managers
- Present prepared estimates to management
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Construction or a similar field preferred
- Familiarity with The Edge estimating software is a plus
