Residential Sales Estimator
Are you a licensed electrician looking to transition out of handson fieldwork into a rewarding fastpaced role with growth potential Join a leading electrical services company specializing in residential installations across Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire.
Position Overview
We are hiring a Residential Sales Estimator to conduct home assessments develop project scopes and deliver tailored solutions for homeowners. This role is designed for a licensed Journeyman or Master Electrician with residential experience. While sales experience is preferred we will provide comprehensive training to help you succeed.
As part of this role youll work with customers in MetroWest Billerica and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct home visits in MetroWest Billerica and neighboring communities assessing customers electrical needs.
- Develop detailed scopes of work that meet customer expectations and adhere to industry standards.
- Present installation options to customers explaining the benefits and answering questions.
- Use project management software to document job details and communicate effectively with the installation team.
- Stay uptodate on electrical codes and sales techniques through regular training.
- Balance inoffice responsibilities with fieldwork as needed.
Qualifications
- Journeyman or Master Electrician License (required).
- Strong experience in residential electrical work including installations and troubleshooting.
- Comprehensive understanding of electrical codes and practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customerfirst mindset.
- Sales experience is a plus but not mandatory training will be provided.
- Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check CORI and drug screening.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary starting at $70000 with an earning potential of $100k $130k annually through commissions.
