Reporting to the Banquet Beverage Manager responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Responsibilities
- Consistently offer professional friendly and engaging service
- Assist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way
- Mix drinks and control the beverage stock as per guidelines
- Have full knowledge of the beverage menus being offered at the banquet
- Follow policies procedures and service standards
- Have knowledge of all menu items garnishes contents and preparation methods
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
- Available to work varied shifts based on business demands including but not limited to weekends and holidays
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications :
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - Previous bartending experience preferred
- Previous Point of Sale System experience an asset
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Available to work varied shifts based on business demands including but not limited to weekends and holidays
Physical Demands
This position requires:
- Constant standing and walking throughout shift
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
- Frequent kneeling pushing and pulling up to 50 lbs
- Occasional ascending or descending ladders stairs and ramps
Required Education and Experience
- TABC Certification
- Texas Food Handlers Certification
